The principal facilities include the Combat Systems Technology Laboratory (CSTL), the Combat Control Systems Laboratory (CCSL) and the Land Based Trident Facility (LBTF) at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, RI. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with a five year period of performance and an estimated level of effort of 42,908 manhours (per year) is anticipated. Level of effort requirements for this contract will include the following: Sr Tech Rep, Sr Sys Eng (VMS, UNIX, MIL), Sr Sys Analyst (UNIX, MIL), Sys Eng (VMS, UNIX, MIL, AI), Sys Analyst (UNIX, MIL, AI), Logistics Specialist, Tech Data Librarian, Sr Programmer, Programmer, Sr Eng Aid, Tech Typist, Admin Clerk and Tech Writer. Applicable SIC Code is 8711. Technical and cost proposals will be required for evaluation. Award will be made on the basis of ''Greatest Value'' with evaluation factors being personnel, technical approach, management approach and past performance. This is a partial follow-on to contract N66604-91-D- 7441 with Syscon Corporation.
