Pulse 2 will occur nominally 25 usec after Pulse 1 and Pulse 3 will be modulated in time to occur 25 usec to 1 sec after Pulse 2. Pulse jitter=1 usec or less. 25 usec is desirable but up to 300 usec would be acceptable if pulse jitter is not exceeded. Q SWITCH:Electrooptic with less than 1 usec jitter. PULSE ENERGY: 8 millijoules minimum for each pulse at 532 nanometers. IR blocking filter required. PULSE DURATION: 4-10 nanoseconds nominal. REP RATE: 3 pulses per 2 seconds. DIVERGENCE: 1 milliradian typical. POINTING ABILITY: 1 milliradian typical. COOLING: Air cooled with heat sink. Air will be blowing over the heat sink. BEAM DIAMETER: 5 mm typical. SIZE: Length=10 inches max, diameter=3 inches max. MASS:600 grams nominal. LIFETIME: 300,000 shots minimum; 1,000,000 shots typical (A DIODE PUMPED system is acceptable if it is not cost prohibitive.) (2) POWER SUPPLY: NOMINAL MASS:150-2000 grams nominal. INPUT:22-28 volts dc. SECOND INPUT IF REQUIRED: 5-12 volts. TRIGGER: 5-12 volts. Adjustable output required. Ready and enable external signal control required. Hand controller for firing single pulse required. Size: 6 inch by 9 inch by 9 inch nominal size or smaller. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The terms include FIRM FIXED PRICE provisions and delivery is is anticipated within 8 weeks after PURCHASE ORDER award. Delivery shall be FOB destination Newport, Rhode Island. Award will be made to that responsible offeror proposing the lowest price for the LASER meeting the above stated requirements. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3845.
