70 -- SUPPLY ALL THE COMPONENTS FOR DESIGN & ANALYSIS OF BACK-END SQL DATABASE SOFTWARE PROGRAM UTILIZING MICROSOFT PROJECT FOR WINDOWS 95 Sol RP1270-96-008, Due 040196, POC Shirley Norton, 303/969-2748, Contract Specialist, James D. Clark, Contracting Officer. The Denver Service Center of the National Park Service is seeking a contractor to supply all components for the design and analysis of a back-end SQL database computer software program necessary to support a networked project management system utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project for Windows 95. The contractor will be required to consolidate MS Project files into a cohesive SQL development of a Needs Analysis for standard Templates; implementation of data field structures; resource sharing requirements, and high level rollup file creation. At a minimum, the system must provide a seamless interface with MS Project, standard cross-project reporting and database queries, on-line schedule status, timesheet integration, automated file uploading, what if scenario analysis, management of resource capacity, security access, a report writer to generate custom reports, and summary project schedules and project resource requirements. The system must facilitate use of project standards i.e. activities and interrelationships, and have the ability to aggregate a history of past projects into a knowledgebase. Proposed back-end does not nee4d to convert current template models or incorporate existing historical data into the database itself. Proposal shall be described in an easily comprehendible and straightforward document responding to this announcement. Development, testing and delivery will be within a six month period from time of award. This acquisition is solicited under full and open competition.
