The Human Systems Program Office/Life Support Systems Division (HSC/YAS), Brooks AFB, TX intends to exercise the following options in support of the Active Noise Reduction (ANR) program: SubCLIN 0020AA-Non-Recurring Production Setup, SubCLIN 0020AD-Headband Mounted ANR System (193 units), 0020AG-ANR Production Data and 0020AH-Warranty-Production Option 1. The modification has been determined to be within the intent and scope of the basic contract, F33657-90-C-0078 with Bose Corporation. This announcement publicizes the intent to award this effort as sole source. The HSC has established an Obmbudsman to address a firm's concerns on a non-attribution basis. Potential offerors are to exhaust all avenues within the contracting and program chain as the Ombudsman is not meant to be a substitute for actual program personnel.
