On 1 March 1996, CBD Synopsis Number 097-96 was published which announced the proposed issuance of a draft request for proposal (DRFP). This modification is issued to clarify that synopsis. The business size standard which qualifies a firm as a small business under Standard Industrialization Code 8731 is 1,000 employees (for this requirement). It is anticipated that the DRFP will be issued approximately 30 days from the date of the publication of this modification. Any firm requesting a copy of the DRFP may do so with a letter.
