J -- TO DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT A NEW FUME EXHAUST TO EXHAUST THE DIESEL COMBUSTION GASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment supplies and materials to design and construct a new fume exhaust system in accordance with the drawings and specifications to exhaust the diesel combustion gases directly from the four diesel powered fire fighting trucks, when in the building. The exhaust fan shall be sized to handle a future fifth fire truck. The design and installation are to comply with the Statement of Work, all applicable laws, rules and regulations for both the mechanical and electrical features of the new exhaust system, including BOCA, NFPA, OSHA, SMACNA and NEC.
