The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for medical services to be furnished to the inmates housed at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, San Diego, California (MCC, San Diego). The requirement for medical services to include resources for the delivery of all necessary health care services and sufficient medical personnel to meet the health care services of MCC, San Diego. These services include, but are not limited to, Primary Care Physicians, Surgeon General/Vascular (as required), Orthopedic Surgeon (as required), Ophthalmologist (as required), Optometrist (as required), Obstetric and Gynecology (as required), Otorhimolaryngologist (as required), Neurologist, Cardiologist, Urologist and other specialties as required per clinical decisions. The anticipated period of this contract will be a base year from date of award, through and including 09/30/96; option period one: 10/01/96 - 09/30/97p; option period two: 10/01/97 - 09/30/98; option period three: 10/01/98 - 09/30/99; and option period four: 10/01/99 - 09/30/00.
