TOWN MEETING POC Attn: Deena Browning/Luka/912-926-2409. All interested contractors are invited to attend a ``Town Meeting'' to be held at 9:30 a.m. on 09 Apr 96 at the Smith Community Center, Building 767, Robins AFB GA. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for early industry involvement in the Government's proposed approach for acquiring non-personal engineering, logistics and program office support services required by the Special Operations Forces (SOF) System Program Office (SPO) for the next five years. These services shall encompass support tasks for the AC-130H/U Gunships, MC-130E Combat Talon I, HC-130P/N, C-141B Soll II, MC-130H Combat Talon II, MH-53J Pave Low, MH/HH- 60G Pave Hawk, UH-1N Iroquois, HH-1H Huey, HH-3E Jolly Green Giant, and the CV-22 Osprey, and their associated avionics and support equipment. Attendance is limited to three persons per contractor. In addition to the group discussion, interested parties will be afforded an opportunity for a one-on-one meeting with the Government Program Team on 10 Apr 96. These meetings will be limited to one hour per contractor. These Individual Meetings must be requested and scheduled no later than close of business 21 Mar 96. Attendance at the Town Meeting is anonymous; however, to be eligible for the individual meetings, you must attend the group forum. The purpose of this Town Meeting is not to obtain proposals and is solely to offer early industry involvement in a contemplated Air Force acquisition. Attendance does not guarantee that any offerors will be considered for award if a solicitation results. Accordingly, the Government is under no obligation to reimburse any source for attendance at this meeting or for any bid and/or proposal costs incurred in preparation of same.
