The Internal Revenue Services (IRS) will be consolidating various existing sites into their new facility in New Carrollton Headquarters Building, Lanham/Seabrook, Maryland. The move project will require the contractor to furnish all labor, material, equipment and supervision to relocate IRS offices. Movement of specialized equipment and supplies, including TV Studio is included. The move project will include moving approximately 1250 employees over six weekends. Requirements is a total small business set-aside, definite quantity type contract. The move will begin in October 1996 through December 1996. The pre-bid conference, property inspection and walk-through will be conducted in April. Prospective bidders interested in attending must submit to this office the name of representatives by the close of business Tuesday, April 2, 1996. Bidders that fail to participate in the walk-though or inspection of the property to be relocated will not be considered for an award. IFB will be issued on about March 22, 1996.
