Under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to lease/rent from Washington Science Center Joint Venture, 6100 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD for a basic twelve month period with three-full option years and one partial-year option ending March 21, 2000. This requirement is for the lease/rental of 425 parking spaces which shall include spaces for the handicapped locate at 6100 Executive Blvd. It is the Government's belief that these requirements can only be met by Washington Science Center Joint Venture because easy walking distance is within 500 feet of the pedestrian entrances to the building. The parking facility at 6100 Executive Blvd is the only facility that can meet this specification. This is not a formal solicitation. However, any other concern that feels they are qualified to provide such services must submit by the response date (45 calendar days from date of this publication) a detailed capability statement documenting their ability to provide this service by meeting the requirements stated above. Information furnished shall include enough material to perform a proper evaluation. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation results.
