project is for the reconstruction of flood damaged roads on the Sam
Houston National Forest, Montgomery, Walker and San Jacinto Counties,
Texas. Work will consist of removal of 22 existing culverts, placing
4653 C.Y. of borrow (select fill), 1205 hay bales for erosion control,
19,476 tons of crushed aggregate, 11.33 miles of reconditioning
existing roadway, placement of 492 tons of rip-rap, seeding 28 acres
for erosion control, placing 16 C.Y. of concrete drainage structure,
110 L.F. of rock-filled gabin retaining wall and installing
approximately 907 culverts (18'' to 60''). All responsible sources may
