The project includes, providing all supervision, labor, materials, transportation and equipment for the exterior lead paint abatement, exterior painting and miscellaneous work on selected garages and meter structures located at the U.S. Naval Academy. The work includes, but not limited to, removal of all exterior lead paint by chemical stripping and wet scraping methods, no other method shall be accepted, the wood siding and trim boards etc. may ``NOT'' be replaced as a method of lead abatement; storage of abated lead containing paint in authorized containers, to be removed by the Contractor and disposed of in accordance with Federal, State and Local Laws; monitoring analysis during lead paint removal work by an accredited laboratory; removing and replacing damage and/or rotten wood as required; featuring, priming and complete painting of all exterior wood surfaces; caulking of all door and window areas. The work also includes washing all exterior window's and incidental related work. The estimated date for availability for this project is 22 March 1996. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
