Article Testing is required the test report is due 548 DACA with
deliveries of 18 ea 813 DACA. This procurement requires
prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which
shall be considered by the agency. Authority and justificatin is FAR
6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible
Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the
Government does not have specifications and drawing to permit full and
open competition; however, it is resricted to approved source(s) Bell
Helicopter Textron, Inc., Ft. Worth, TX and Abex Corporation, Oxnard,
CA. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award
and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms
are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future
solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Sectin L of the
solicitation. Information on meeting of qualifications may also be
