The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center has a requirement to procure all components necessary to upgrade an existing Varian Broadband VXR 200 to a Broadband GEMINI 2000 system on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253 (C)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.301-1. This upgrade shall include installation of one each of the following parts: (1) 200 MHz BROADBAND GEMINI 2000 HIGH-RESOLUTION NMR CONSOLE., (2) WALTZ MODULATOR, (3) COMPUTER-CONTROLLED INSERT/EJECT MODULE, (4) VARIABLE TEMPERATURE MODULE WITH VT CONTROLLER, (5) UNIVERSAL ETHERNET KIT FOR NETWORKED SPECTROMETERS, (6) VNMR MULTI-USER, SINGLE-CPU OBJECT CODE LICENSE (1/4 - INCH TAPE). All components must be compatible with existing 200 MHz Varian NMR superconducting magnet and existing Varian NMR probes. Any other firm that believes it has the ability to meet the Government requirements is invited to respond to this notice in writing by furnishing a capabilty statement demonstrating their ability to provide and install all Government required equipment.
