R -- FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES SOL SP4410-96-R-1005 POC Contact Mr. David Straughn, Contract Specialist, (616)961-5873 The Defense Reutilization and marketing service (DRMS), aprimary level Field activity of the defense logistic agency, is looking for a firm to provide financial advisory services for the DRMS joint venture initiative. This initiative will include one or more equity joint venture transactions involving the sale of a group of assets as identified by the contractor and approved by DRMS. Anystructure, pricing, and sale are subject to final approval by DRMS. The structure to be used for this initiative will be based on atransaction Model completed by the resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). DRMS will make a final determination regarding the Government'S authority to enter into any transactions proposed by the contractor, although revision of the relevant RTC documents will be required to meet DRMS' specific needs and applicable statutoryand regulatory limitations regarding these transactions. The contractor will be paid based on a fixed amount of reimbursable expenses and a percentage of the ultimate sales proceeds from the joint venture transaction(S) created.
