The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the platemaking, printing, folding, collating, and distribution of approximately 21 different navigation charts. A projected total quantity of approximately 750,000 charts will be produced in mandatory 7 calender day performance periods every 56 calendar days. Chart sizes vary from 20'' x 45'' to 20'' x 55''. Charts shall be printed in four color. The contract period shall be for two years. The Government may include one (1) two-year option period or two (2) one- year option periods. Award may be made under the IFB or under an existing contract option. Requests for the IFB shall be in writing. Telephone requests will not be honored. Parties which submitted written requests for solicitation no. 52-DGNC-6-00015, synopsized in the June 13, 1995 edition of the CBD, need not respond to this synopsis. See numbered Note 1. (0068)
