Boger, (717) 861-8687 (Site Code DAHA36) This project requires all plant, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to construct a 12,000 square foot mobility storage warehouse for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 193rd Special Operations Wing, located at the Harrisburg International Airport, Middletown, Pennsylvania. The work will include, but not limited too, site preparation, placement of a concrete foundation, construction of a steel framed building with non-bearing precast concrete wall panels, and installation of a ballasted EPDM roof. Work on this project will also involve installation of a fire alarm system, a fire protection sprinkler system, a heating system and all utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer. In addition, the removal of two (2) regulated underground storage tanks, 2,000 and 4,000 gallons in size, and the installation of a new 4,000 gallon oil/water separator with a 500 gallon settling tank are included in this project. All work shall conform with the plans and specifications provided with the solicitation. The performance period has been estimated at one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days. The estimated construction range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation, an Invitation for Bid, shall be issued as unrestricted. The projected date for availability of the Invitation for Bid is 6 May 1996 with a projected Bid Opening Date of 6 June 1996. The Bid Opening Date will be no less than thirty (30) calendar days after availability of the solicitation. A limited number of solicitations will be available to prime contractors on a first come first serve basis with one set of plans and specifications provided with each solicitation. Only one solicitation package will be sent to each firm. There is no charge for the solicitation documents. A copy of these documents will be available for inspection at the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville, Pennsylvania. A solicitation package will also be sent to Dodge Reports, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and the Harrisburg Builder's Exchange, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Any questions pertaining to the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville, Pennsylvania no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the Bid Opening Date. With your request for a solicitation, each firm must include their Federal Tax Identification Number, corporate status, and business size. Corporate status means the offeror's designation as a (1) sole proprietorship, (2) partnership, or (3) other corporate entity. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this particular project is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years.
