The Federal Bureau of Prisons seeks to award a firm-fixed priced contract to repair two (2) fire damaged housing units located at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Memphis, TN. Project will involve partial demolition of fire damaged areas, asbestos abatement, rehab thirty-two cells to meet ADA Standards, install complete wet sprinkler system, rehab existng HVAC system, construct balcony walkways in each unit, fabricate and install metal stairways, rehab housing units to new floor plans, and other miscellaneous related items. Work is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available for issue on March 25, 1996, with a bid opening date of April 25, 1996. A non-refundable fee of less than $100 will be required for each set of plans and specifications.
