Letterkenny Army Depot intends to solicit for the Removal and Installation of one (1) Chrome Fume Mist Eliminator (Scrubber) 40KCFM system and one each 24KCFM Chrome Fume Mist Eliminator (Scrubber) system. The work includes, but not limited to providing adequate chrome plating tank ventilation in accordance with ACGIH and OSHA requirements while meeting the new chromium emission limit of 0.015 miligrams per dry standard cubis meter of exhaust. Requirement for the 40KCFM system is 40,000 cfm and the 24KCFM system is 24,000 cfm. Work also includes the removal of two existing systems before installation of the newly acquired units. Delivery will be within 120 days (1st unit) and 240 days (2nd unit) after date of contract award. The site inspection date will be announced with the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. There is a $25.00 charge for this solicitation package. Only money orders, cashier's check or certified checks will be acceptable. Any check collection vouchers submitted with any form of personal check (be it from a personal account or a business account) will be rejected. Payment should accompany the written requests and shall be made payable to the U.S. Department of Treasury.
