The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking sources capable of providing a comprehensive remote sensing data service in support of the NASA Commercial Remote Sensing Program (CRSP) at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. CRSP seeks vendors capable of coordinating the varied spatial data needs of the program. The remote sensing data acquisition service has two primary components: (1) delivery of remote sensing products (i.e., satellite imagery, aerial photography, maps, etc.) and (2) airborne data acquisition (sensor/camera system). The vendor should be able to provide all required services either directly or through a variety of subcontracts with flight services companies, satellite and airborne data providers, and/or other remote sensing companies. The ideal vendor would have sufficient breadth and depth of remote sensing expertise to evaluate project applications and provide matches to appropriate data sources based upon criteria such as quality, spectral coverage, and cost.
