Contractor is requested to provide Material Handling Laborers for Coiling of Communications Cable onboard the USNS ZEUS which will be moored to a pier in the vicinity of Williamsburg, Virginia. Contractor will be required to provide special gloves, safety shoes and hats for each individual employee. The work may be performed on a two (2) or three (3) shift basis, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week until all cable is coiled. The contractor shall provide twenty-four (24) material handling laborers plus a Supervisor for each shift. Services are to commence on or about 30 June and continue for a period of approximately 23 days with the option to extend the contract for up to an additional six (6) days. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Only written or facsimile requests will be accepted.
