Fax Number 719-556-7900. The formal Request for Proposals (RFP) for Base Supply/Vehicle Operation and Maintenance will be issued on or about 1 Apr 96. This RFP will be issued via a combination of electronic media and hard copy. The RFP, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and most attachments will be issued on 3 1/2'' computer disk, while certain attachments will be issued in hard copy. Offerors wishing to receive a copy must submit a written request for solicitation. The letter must contain the following information: Company Name, Point of Contact, complete address to include 9-digit Zip Code, POC Phone Number, Fax Number, and a statement of intent to propose. Even if you have previously requested to be placed on the Bidder's List, you must respond to this notice or you will not receive the RFP. Letters should be mailed to arrive at the designated Contracting Office no later than 25 Mar 96. This acquisition is to provide all management, supervision, personnel transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and other items and services to perform Complete Operation of the Standard Base Supply and Vehicle Transportation System at Peterson AFB CO, satellite accounts at Falcon AFB CO, Cheyenne Mountain AS CO, and Buckley ANG Base CO. The period of performance will be one (1) year basic period (01 Dec 96 to 30 Sep 97) with four (4) option periods of one (1) year each and a 5th two (2) month option period. There will be a 30 day phase-in period before the basic performance period. This acquisition will be an unrestricted competitive source selection. However, the Transportation portion of this acquisition is designated as a 100% small business set-aside. In addition, there is a mandatory 20% subcontracting requirement of the total dollars, for this acquisition. A site visit will be held at Peterson AFB on 8 and 9 Apr 96. The Preproposal Conference will be held at Peterson AFB, in Colorado Springs, CO on 9 Apr 96. Attendance is limited to three (3) persons per team including subcontractors for the Site Visit and five (5) persons per team including subcontractors for the Preproposal Conference. Written questions arising as a result of the site visit will be responded to informally at the preproposal conference. All questions shall be submitted by 12 Apr 96 and will be officially responded to as an amendment to the RFP.
