(Fort Huachuca), AZ. The federal government is changing the way it buys
supplies and services from its small business vendors. Paper
solicitations, bids, contracts, and payments are being replaced by
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for purchases under $100,000. Learn
how you can do business with the government by EDI at a one-day
conference conducted by the Electronic Commerce Resource Center. You
will learn: How you can increase selling opportunities to the federal
government throughout the country; benefits of paperless contracting;
what computer equipment, software, communications equipment, and Value
Added Network services are needed to get started; and how to register
one time for doing business with the government by EDI. The conference
will be held on Thursday, April 18, 1996, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
at the Thunder Mountain Inn, 1631 S. Highway 92, Sierra Vista, AZ.
Conference fee is $25 per person, which includes lunch and conference
