Warren AFB is beginning a composting program to reduce it's municipal solid waste that enters the landfill. Potential sources are being sought for the lease or rental of a composting system which utilizes 9 millimeter plastic bags approximately 4' wide by 200' long, inside which the entire composting process take place without exposure to wind, without undesirable odors, and without creating leachate problem.
