provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision to
repair the HVAC System pneumatic controls in Building 215 (UPH) and 216
(Dining Facility) at USCG NY, Ft Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY. Work
includes new material in pneumatic control system to be compatible with
existing Barber-Colman Co. pneumatic control system. Other material
includes Quincy duplex compressor unit Model FFX#, refrigerated air
dryer unit Hankinson Dehumidifier Model 8010 (2 ea), air temperature
transmitters Barber-Colman Model No. TKS8033 Model No. 2252-610 with
adapter Model No. 22-401 (10 ea) and misc other equip. The estimated
cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1711.
Completion by 5/15/96. Solicitation Packages to be available on or
about March 31, 1996. Packages may be obtained by sending a non
refundable check in the amount of $20 payable to U.S. Coast Guard, to
the address listed above. Requests will be honored until supply is
exhausted. Quotes due April 15, 1996. This project is issued pursuant
to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is
unrestricted. THE FOLLOWING NOTICE IS PROVIDED AS INFORMATION FOR

of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU) has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assiea)tance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000. For further information
