Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - JOB ORDER CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT SOL DAHA08-96-R-0004. POC Contracting Officer is MAJ Gary Peterson, (904) 823-0554. The work consists of minor construction, various renovation, alteration, and maintenance and repair projects at the Florida Air National Guard Base, Jacksonville International Airport and may include orders at three other Air National Guard locations in Florida, Camp Blanding, Starke, Florida; McDill AFB, Tampa, Florida; Patrick AFB, Cocoa, Florida. The contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract. Delivery orders will be based on individual projects and may be issued for a period of one (1) calendar year from the date of award, with the option to extend the basic contract annually for four (4) additional years. Individual delivery orders will not exceed $300,000 and the total cumulative amount of the contract will not exceed $5,000,000. The minimum guaranteed value of the contract is $5,000. Construction may include demolition, painting, asphalt and concrete paving, concrete work, masonry walls, structural steel, metal roof deck, insulated flexible sheet or built-up roofing, waterproofing, roof accessories, architectural woodwork, hollow metal doors and frames, operable partitions, storefronts and windows, plumbing, wooden doors, overhead coiling doors, fire protection, HVAC, electrical systems and lighting. Source selection procedures contained in FAR Subpart 15.6 shall be utilized to select the successful offeror. A pre-proposal conference and site visit may be conducted. The following factors, listed in order of priority, will be used; project management ability, subcontracting support capability, company experience, location of the firm in the general geographical area of the project (Jacksonville, Florida) and price. The Government may award a contract without discussions. The RFP will be available no or about 19 April 96 with opening on or about 23 May 96. The SIC Code is 1542, size standard $17.0 million.
