Scope of work: This contract is for all labor, materials and equipment required for the replacement of cooling coils in eighteen (18) air handling systems, cleaning of air handling systems in the BMC and GMF, rebalancing of all affected air handling systems. All work shall be complete in all respects, tested and ready for operation. All materials, equipment and apparatus shall be new and of first class quality. Only experienced air conveyance system cleaning contractors are acceptable for the work. They must have a minimum of three years experience in commercial and industrial air conveyance system cleaning. They must be a member of the NADCA and be thoroughly familiar with the NADCA Standard 1992-01. They must demonstrate the successful completion of projects of similar size and complexity. A preproposal conference has been scheduled for March 26, 1996 at 10:30 am at the Springfield MA BMC/GMF, 190 Fiberloid Street, Springfield MA 01152-9731. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $400,000 with completion required within 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
