Hager at (404)842-6553 Correction: This action originally publicized in the CBD dated June 15, 1995, is corrected as follows: Provide all labor, materials and equipment to construct an approximate 8,500 square foot, one-level shop building for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Chamblee, GA. The new building consists of approximately 30% open-area office space and 70% shop/maintenance space; floor to under deck height is approximately 16 feet; structural system includes load bearing block walls with strip footings and slab on grade; roof is flat with modified bitumen and rigid insulation roofing system on steel deck supported by open web steel joists; architectural features include split face, ground and glazed CMU, and double-glazed windows; mechanical heating and cooling shall be accomplished via rooftop mounted equipment. Interior furnishings are not a part of this requirement. THOSE RESPONDING AND FORWARDING CHECKS IN RESPONSE TO THE PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT NEED NOT REAPPLY. This procurement is SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid bonds will be required. Subsequently, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Solicitation (IFB) will be available on or about April 4, 1996, for a non-refundable fee of $100 per bid set.
