Work shall include the following: Complete replacement of the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems in an approximately 12,000 square ft bldg with offices, laboratory and garage space. Work includes associated electrical system modifications; and asbestos and lead-base paint abatement necessary to perform the other work of the project. The building is a secure area which remains in operation throughout the performance of the contract. Therefore, the work shall be performed in four phase requiring careful coordination between the Contractor and the Government to ensure building security is maintained and that vital operations within the facility are not interrupted.
