Scope of work consists of replacing existing air conditioning unit (air handler, compressor, controls) serving the Armament Shop office area, building 192, at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Dade County, Homestead, Florida, located approximately thirty miles south of Miami, FL. New HVAC unit will serve existing conditioned offices as well as several currently without air conditioning. Insulated ductwork and diffusers shall be provided to the newly served offices. Approximate area of offices and hallways to be conditioned is 4000 SF. The SIC Code is 1711. Magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. Project performance period is 45 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 16 Apr 96. Dates are for estimating purposes only and may be revised as indicated in the IFB.
