Scope of work consists of repairing the existing damaged fire sprinkler/detection system in building 153, to conform to NFPA and AF criteria for warehouse operations. The system shall be interconnected to the Base Fire Department Alarm Room and shall have an indicator panel near the warehouse entrance. Work shall correct deficiencies in piping, valves, controls, detectors, sprinkler heads, etc. Approximate warehouse area is 9800 SF. The SIC Code is 1731. Magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. Project performance period is 45 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 16 April 96. Dates are for estimating purposes only and may be revised as indicated in the IFB.
