ACMS, based on the U.S. Department of Agriculture agreement #58-3148-5-008, seeks proposals for providing water treatment package technology for locations within the People's Republic of China. The USDA project award covers the demonstration of safe drinking water technologies in the Peoples Republic of China, and is a part of the U.S. Technology for International and Environmental Solutions (USTIES) program which is administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The primary goal of the project is to demonstrate cost effective package treatment technology for the control of contaminants in drinking water as well as to provide an opportunity for U.S. manufacturers to develop a marketing relationship within the Peoples' Republic of China for drinking water technology. The solicitation will request proposals for any or all of the selected sites within the Peoples' Republic of China which will be described in detail, and will include detailed specifications for types of equipment needed for each site.
