The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for an Antenna and Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement system. The antenna and RCS measurement system must support an enhanced frequency coverage from 2 GHz to 50 GHz with potential growth to 110 GHz. The system must mix the measured RF signals from 2.0 to 18.0 GHz. The system must be compatible with the HP 8510C Vector Network Analyzer/8530 Microwave Receiver system which the government is currently utilizing.
