SPAIN: PAYPHONES The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.31. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: SPAIN. Notified under Article 2.9.2, 2.10.1, 5.6.2, 5.7.1. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers and may be provided in addition, where applicable): Payphones. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document: Technical Specifications in Respect of Payphones for Connecting to the Switched Telephone Network. 6. Description of content: Technical specifications defining the requirements for automatic charge payphones permitting different forms of payment (coins, notes, pre-pay cards, credit cards, etc.), connectible to the network terminating point of the switched telephone network. 7. Objective and rationale: To establish minimum technical requirements and test methods. 8. Relevant documents: Royal Decree No. 2304/1994 and Royal Decree No. 136/89 establishing the technical specifications concerning the terminating point and terminal equipment. 9.
