Sea Systems Command intends to provide a sole-source, six-month bridge
effort for an estimated 34,000 man-hours, with two additional
three-month options for an estimated 17,000 man-hours each, to
Technology Services Corporation (TSC), Washington Operations, 962 Wayne
Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. Under this bridge, TSC will
provide the continuation of support for engineering analyses of the
AEGIS Combat System (ACS) performance in Fleet Defense, Ship
Self-Defense, and Amphibious Operations (which are presently being
provided under N00024-94-C-5143). This bridge allows for contractual
coverage in the interim period between the expiration of the current
contract and the expected competitive award (solicitation
N00024-96-R-5166) in the 2nd Quarter of Fiscal Year 1997. Analyses
include evaluation of the following: AN/SPY-1 radar system performance,
airborne fleet surveillance techniques and associated data fusion,
application of the cooperative engagement concept, and missile system
