Construction of the Radio Communications Facilities (RFC); Remote Center Air/Ground (RCAG) with Radio Communications Link (RCL) facility at Gallup, New Mexico. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work includes the construction of a new building, 18'-0'' x 34'-0'' concrete masonry unit (Architectural type) building; a crushed stone surfaced parking area; two (20-foot) self-supporting antenna towers with respective concrete foundations; one (100-foot) microwave tower with concrete foundation; underground coaxial cable for communications; and an underground copper cable counterpoise/lightning protection system. The proposed procurement is unrestricted regarding business size. The BOD is an approximate date only. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1542. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
