This project involves demolition of the existing spray bars and support systems, removal of asbestos insulation and lead paint, structural modification to the tunnel, installation of 10 Government furnished spray bars, mechanical systems including Government furnished valves, filters, heat exchangers, water pump and motor, fabrication and installation of combustion air, deionized water, and steam distribution piping systems. Tunnel wall demolition, modification, fabrication and installation of a tunnel access hatch including ramps and site work. This work is located in and around the Icing Research Tunnel, Bldg. 11.
