305-5888. General services administration wishes to announce that on
or about April 2,1996, the Solicitation FCGE-96-0008-N for
COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the Department of the Air
Force, Air Force reserve located at the youngstown air reserve base,
vienna, Ohio will be issued. This procurement will require furnishing
of copiers and all accessories, furnishing and delivery of consumable
supplies (except paper), emergency repair service, periodic preventive
maintenance and Dey opertors training. Copier requirements have been
broken down into two volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I, 15
copies per minute minimum, and 750-5,000 copies per month, and volume
band II, 20 copies per minute minimum, and 5,001 to 15,000 copies per
month. The Air Force reserve has Given an initial machine estimate of
26 units. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'S current
production models, either new or newlyremanufactered. This procurement
will be negotiated. One award will be made. The resultant contract
will be a firm, fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract
period for this procurement will be for one year beginning 01 June
1996, through may 31, 1997, with the option to extend for three one
yearoptions. Request for copies of the Solicitation must be submitted
