Red River Army Depot is replacing the current IBM 4245-010 and 020 high-speed impact printers they have located in their central computer site. This acquisition will lead to a firm fixed-price contract for four (4) each printers based upon competitive bidding. Printers will be IBM 6262-022s' or equivalent. Contractor is required to bid commercially available, new/current production, off-the-shelf equipment. Repair part support must be available throughout the economic life of the printers (eight years from date of contract award) offered. Proposed hardware shall be in current production at the time of contract award. Prototype, developmental or out-of-date discontinued models are not acceptable. Interface is an IBM plug compatible (AMDAHL 600E) remotely located mainframe connected to printers via a channel extender. Maintenance Service is not a part of this acquisition.
