The Minerals Management Service (MMS) has a requirement for a contractor with experience in the area of oil spill research technologies and devices to operate, maintain, and manage our Ohmsett facility. This facility is located on the Earle Naval Weapons Station in Leonardo, NJ. The anticipated total performance period is 5 years. In addition to routine maintenance, the contractor will be responsible for the performance of tests, evaluation and analysis of devices and technologies designed to control or mitigate spilled oil and other hazardous materials. The contractor will be required to present all data in the form of written reports and will assist MMS in determining which findings are of public interest and disseminating the information to the public.
