The Government has a requirement for the charter of a vessel to conduct biological studies of Stellar sea lions in the central Aleutian Islands. The charter will begin O/A June 2, 1996 and continue for 31 days. The charter will begin and end at Dutch Harbor, Alaska. The vessel must have a minimum overall length of 85 feet (26 m), minimum cruising speed of 10 knots (19 km/hr), accommodations for a scientific crew of 8, and the capability for loading/off-loading a 16-foot (4.9 m) Government-furnished inflatable boat.
