SOL DTFA08-96-B-02927 POC Nancy Davis, (310) 725-7564 The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services (except government furnished materials) necessary to upgrade the Instrument Landing System (ILS) and the installation of a Category III ILS currently servicing Runways (R/W) 07L/25R, Los Angeles Airport, Los Angeles, California. The scope of work is to (1) demolish/remove the existing ILS equipment - Glide Slope, Localizer, Inner Marker, and Outer Marker; (2) Surveying to establish location of the new Localizer antenna array; (3) Enlarging existing wooden platform; and (4) to install the new GFM Antenna Arrays at the sites mentioned. The work involves concrete work, carpentry work, electrical work, grounding work, trenching, cabling, backfilling, surveying, and the assembly and installation of the GFM equipment. All site work shall be performed in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Administration plans and specifications. The performance period is ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this procurement is 1799.
