The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for miscellaneous minor repair and alteration projects at various USPS-owned and leased facilities located in all counties in states of Colorado and Wyoming. The term of the contract will be for two consecutive years commencing from the date of award. The total quantity of work which will be required under this contract is indefinite; however, one or more ''Work Orders'' will be issued totaling not less than $10,000, with the aggregate of the contract not exceeding $1,000,000. Individual work orders will not be issued for less than $1,000. Offerors are required to submit a single ''Multiplier'' to be applied to the unit prices to determine the value of each work order issued. The Postal Service reserves the right to make multiple awards on this solicitation. Offers will not be publicly opened and all proposal information received will remain confidential until the contract is awarded. Sealed offers will be received in the issuing office prior to, but not later than 4:00 p.m., April 16, 1996. Proposal documents, plans and specifications for this project will be available on or about March 12, 1996. The successful contractor must have an office located within the geographical area covered by the contract, and the contract must be administered from that office having full authority to make contract decisions. Plans are $75 per set, nonrefundable, by check or money order only. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
