PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Utah National Guard proposes to award a contract to purchase a prefabricated explosive magazine container. The container shall be 40' X 8' X 8', type 2, Class ABC. It shall meet or exceed the requirements of the U.S. Government Specification Number NSWC3046-93-1. This building is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Business and Small Manufacturers if a competitive number are available. Interested concerns should notify this office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as early as possible, but no later than COB 28 March 1996. This notification shall include a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1541 applies. The small business size standard of $17 million is a three-year average annual gross revenue. Small businesses shall respond in writing no later than date specified earlier in announcement. The written response shall provide the following information: the IFB number DAHA42-96-B-0004, the firms complete name, address, and telephone number including area code. If adequate interest and/or above information is not received from qualified small business/small manufacturer concerns by above date, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns. Magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The performance period is 30 calendar days. Bid packages will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis until supply is exhausted. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 02 April 1996. All requests shall be in writing.
