C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES TO PERFORM TYPE ``A'', TYPE ``B'' AND TYPE ``C'' SERVICES FOR PROJECT 340081, SATELLITE TRAINING FACILITY, TRAINING AND TRAINING TECHNOLOGY BATTLE LAB (T3BL), FT. DIX, NEW JERSEY POC Contract Specialist - 2Lt Maldonado, (609) 530-6759. The Services shall provide for Type ``A'' (Site Investigations) Type ``B'' (Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates) and an option for Type ``C'' (Inspection Services) for Project 340081. The services shall provide for investigations, design and inspection services for the construction of approximately 67,411 square feet of facility for the Training and Training Technology Battle Lab (T3BL) Satellite Training facility addition. Building will include multi-media classrooms, Night fighting training center, Battle simulation classroom and other administrative facilities. In addition, the facility design shall include site preparation, fencing, fuel pad and utilities. This project is for the New Jersey Army National Guard, located at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Selection of a firm for negotiation shall be through an order of preference based on demonstrated competence and qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the type of professional services required. Selection criteria in order of weight and importance are: (1) professional qualifications necessary for the performance of work, (2) specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required to design the Satellite Training facility, (3) capacity to accomplish the work in the required time, (4) past performance on contracts with respect to cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules, with the Army National Guard, Department of Defense, Federal Government Agencies and private industry, (5) geographical location and knowledge of the locality of the project and (6) volume of work previously awarded by the Department of Defense. The estimated cost of construction for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification for this project is 8712. Architect-Engineer firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a complete Standard Form (SF) 254 and Standard Form (SF) 255 for this specific project. These forms must be received in this office no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the 30th calendar days after the date of this publication. Should the due date fall on a weekend or a holiday, the submittal package will be due on the first workday thereafter. Forms shall be submitted to the USPFO for New Jersey, Attention: Cpt John Simms, 131 Eggert Crossing Road, Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648-2898. If a current SF 254 has been previously submitted, a letter stating so should be submitted within the prescribed time frame to assure consideration, however a current SF 255 is still required.
