This synopsis is issued to state the Government's intention to exercise the option to extend the term of contract number N68936-93-C-0143, which was awarded to Comserco, Incorporated, 15354 Bonanza Road, Suite C, Victorville, CA 92392 (S) for installation, maintenance and repair of MICOR base stations and repeaters, MICOR mobiles and accessories and various other base stations, repeaters, mobile radios, paging systems, portables, and tone control remote control units. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation and removal of commercial, two-way radio communications equipment. Special technical/engineering assistance is also provided to correct malfunctions in a system. The contractor provides qualified engineering support services, technical services, or representative services as required. Engineering support type services also may be provided during performance of this contract. Engineering support services includes both in-house and field services. The contract provides for a basic year which extends from date of award 1 Jun 93 through 31 May 94 and four option years beginning 1 Jun 94, 1 Jun 95, 1 Jun 96, and 1 Jun 97, respectively. At this time, the Government intends to exercise the third option year for the period 1 Jun 96 through 31 May 97. Also, at some time prior to expiration of the third option year, the Government anticipates exercising the fourth option year for the period 1 Jun 97 through 31 May 98.
