(315) 772-6510. Information is sought on potential sources and vendor
capabilities for the purpose of providing Engineering Technician
support for the UH-60 aircraft stationed at Fort Drum, New York. Intent
is to contract for services over a period of approximately three years
to include option periods. Requirement is expected to be serviced by
providing an Engineering Technician to be stationed at Fort Drum to
perform on a weekly basis expected top constitute 40 hours. The
Engineering Technician has a thorough knowledge of UH-60 and mission
peculiar equipment manufacturing processes, repair procedures, and
components provided by the manufacturer and its subcontractors/vendors.
The primary tasks of the Engineering Technician shall be to provide
advisory service for updating the skills of Department of Army
maintenance personnel and to serve as a communication conduit
concerning manufacturing support information for the customer
organization. Available information is that requirement can only be
provided by Sikorsky Support Services, Inc. Responses will form a part
of the determination as to sole source provision of services.
Requested responses are to provide information including technical
information demonstrating that requirement can be provided by other
vendors. Requested responses are to be in writing and will identify the
vendor's name, address, phone number, point of contact, business size
and other vendor category information. Responses are requested to be
