X -- ROAD MAINTENANCE SOL R9-21-96-08 DUE 043096. Contact Mary E. Saint Louis, Contracting Officer, 304/636-1800. The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for road maintenance on each of it's five Districts in Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker, Grant, Preston, Greenbrier, Nicholas and Webster Counties, West Virginia. The Forest will be subdivided into three separate areas of work. The work on each item will run consecutively, therefore, the availability of a separate piece of equipment and operator for each item awarded is required. Each of the items have three subitems involving surface blading, cleaning and reshaping ditches, and cleaning culverts on specified Forest roads. In addition, each item has a subitem for backhoe to handle excessive pipe pocket clean-out on a per job basis, as identified on the ground. Specific items of work will be identified through Delivery Orders issued twice a year. The work will run from date of contract award through September 30, 1996. This project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration. (071)
