The work required on this project includes repair of exterior facades and of roofing to eliminate damp and wet conditions in the perimeter rooms of the western sixty feet of MacArthur E-Wing. It also includes the repair of water-damaged interior surfaces identified in the perimeter rooms. The work must be done on an expedited schedule. The above exterior work includes: rebuilding of buttresses, provision of expansion joints, repointing and re-weeping, repair of granite and limestone, replacement of in-wall and thru-wall flashing, rebuilding of parapet wall and re-caulking at the joint between aluminum and granite. Interior finishing's include repair of damaged plaster and repainting. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 3 April 1996. Bid Opening date is 6 May at 2:OO P.M.
