PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work on the roof areas of Building 10 includes: the removal and disposal of existing gravel surfaced, asphalt built-up roofing, roof insulation, bituminous base sheets, bituminous flashings and sheet metal flashings, wood blocking, gutter and downspout assemblies down to existing structural wood roof decks, removal of lead based paint on soffits, removal of deteriorated areas of wood deck and wood soffit, removal of wood fascia, and removal of various rooftop equipment including the hot stack, rooftop vents, and existing gas piping. The work also includes: the installation of wood roof decking, wood fascia, wood soffit, including painting wood fascia and soffit, the installation of base sheet, multi-layered tapered insulation including crickets, wood blocking, SBS modified bitumen roofing and flashings, sheet metal flashings, gutter/downspout assemblies; and the installation of new and reinstallation of existing rooftop equipment including new vent stack, rooftop vents and gas piping, and incidental related work in order to render the roof systems and rooftop equipment complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 90 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1761 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million.
